Macao Surfing Lessons
Overview
Experience the exhilaration of riding a wave with one of our professional surf lessons! Our surf instructors will work with you, one-on-one, so you’re up and riding. If you’ve surfed a few times before, we’ll help refine your techniques. If you’ve never surfed before, this is your opportunity! Perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Have you ever dreamed of learning to surf? If so, here’s your chance!
Our excursion takes you to the awe-inspiring Macao Beach in northern Punta Cana. With its picture perfect seascapes and consistent wave sets, Macao is one of the top destinations for surfers in the Dominican Republic.
Before entering the water, the surf team at Macao will brief you on the basics of surfing: safety tips, how to paddle, how to stand up and how to keep your balance. Once in the water, you’ll have one-on-one lessons with experienced surfers who will assist you in choosing and catching the perfect wave. Macao’s shallow waters and smooth sandy beach bottom make for a completely safe environment for learning to surf.
Not a beginner? No worries. There are classes and/or board rentals for intermediate and advanced surfers as well.

This tour is completely dependent on the wind. We will try and contact you, to reschedule, if wind conditions change to where parasailing is not possible. If you’re staying in Cap Cana or Uvero Alto, there is a minimum of 4 people required. There is a 550 pound weight limit per parasail. This is the total weight, not weight per person. The weight limit is in place for safety reasons. You also must be at least 7 years old to go parasailing.
