This tour takes place in the dolphinarium, built for the most personal interaction possible. Don't be nervous about getting in — these are trained dolphins, the gentle giants of the sea, and swimming with them is like nothing else. A single dolphin will spend 50 minutes with your small group of no more than 12 people.
Here's what's in store:
- Kisses and hugs — you give the dolphin a kiss and get a wet one back.
- A dance and a "handshake" — call it a fin shake.
- A belly rub — as the dolphin glides past, give its belly a rub; it's usually the favorite moment.
- A belly ride — hold onto the dolphin's pectoral fins as it swims fast, upside down. Unforgettable.
- A boogie push — grab your boogie board and hang on while the dolphin pushes you clear across the dolphinarium.
Don't worry about capturing it all yourself — professional photographers are on hand to catch every moment, and the crystal-clear water makes for stunning shots.

I always felt safe when riding with the drivers or while on the excursion. But be warned, ANYTHING you may want to buy (such as photo or video) is very expensive! 1 photo with myself and a Dolphin was $40! I don't think it that has anything to do with Punta Cana Tours and I would do the excursions again with them, no question.”
