Meet a dolphin up close with no swimming required. Standing on a submerged platform, you and a small group spend 50 minutes with a single dolphin — a kiss, a fin shake, a belly rub — while a trainer explains how they live and what they eat. It's the gentlest way to get face-to-fin, and ideal for families and non-swimmers.
An Up-Close Dolphin Meeting — No Swimming Needed
Be honest: is there anyone who doesn't love dolphins?
Coming face to face with one is the kind of memory that stays with you for the rest of your life.
Their intelligence, grace and playful curiosity are genuinely remarkable, and our hope is that a little time together leaves you with a deeper respect for these extraordinary marine mammals.
The setting is a multi-million-gallon dolphinarium, and here's the best part: you don't need to know how to swim. You'll stand on a submerged platform in shallow water while a single dolphin comes to greet your small group of no more than 12 people for a full 50 minutes.
So what actually happens out there?
- Kisses and hugs — you plant one on the dolphin, and you get a kiss right back.
- A dance and a "handshake" — more of a fin shake, really.
- A belly rub — the dolphin glides past and you give its belly a rub; this tends to be the crowd favorite.
- A proper introduction — your trainer walks you through the dolphin's anatomy, habitat and everyday diet (good news: humans aren't on the menu).
These are intimate sessions with a hard cap on how many people can join, so reserve your place ahead of time to be sure of a spot.
Come spend a morning getting to know one of the ocean's most intelligent residents.
